Our next exhibit for April will be “Missouri Photo Workshop Exhibit: 75th Anniversary,” facilitated by the University of Missouri School of Journalism. Join us for an opening reception on April 5th from 6:00-9:00PM.

This year the Missouri Photo Workshop celebrates its 75th Anniversary. Each year since 1949 about 40 photographers from around the country and the world have spent one week photographing life in a small Missouri town. Over seven decades, this tradition has created one of the greatest collections of photographs of rural America. 

From the Ozark Plateau, the riverbanks of the Missouri and Mississippi, the famous Bootheel in the southeast and the drier plains of the north, Missouri itself represents the varied geographical aspects of the Heartland.
