This exhibition explores the complex landscape of the mythic feminine, recontextualizing five ancient archetypes: Baba Yaga, Hecate, Demeter, the Sphinx, and the Selkie. Interwoven with motifs of flora, fauna, and lunar phases, these figures are reclaimed as active forces of power, grief, and transformation.
These large-scale, intricate panels are suspended away from the wall, allowing light to cast dynamic shadows throughout the gallery space. Moving between substance and silhouette, the artwork functions as a visual threshold where ancient stories meet contemporary life, celebrating the enduring power of these mythic archetypes.
