I like to use humble materials: cardboard, paper, scissors, glue, ink, sometimes acrylic paint, a few odd plastic pieces. The materials I have around, randomly assembled in my studio, often give me an impulse to combine them, which can create an idea. It’s a form of play which helps me explore my inner space.
I don’t try to disguise the materials, or make my work archival, though some of it might last quite a while. Everything is temporary; so is the art.
